The RBC Heritage ROCKed!

And the winner is…..Jordan Speith! Congratulations to Jordan for winning the 2022 RBC Heritage golf tournament in beautiful Hilton Head Island, SC! After a weekend of sunshine, rolling greens, golf clubs and plaid, The Rock It! Co. is still spinning with excitement from the amazing time we had at the Harbour Town Golf Links Course. What a win!!!

Our guests arrived in style (thanks to Coastal Limousine of Charleston), to the beautiful and accommodating  Montage Palmetto Bluff. We had guests fly in from all over the country to enjoy the perfect weather, networking and culinary excellence at our intimate gathering. 

When planning a special, VIP event, it’s important to add simple yet meaningful touches and make the experience as seamless (and for most (let’s be honest), cost effective) as possible. Here’s a few planning tips from the pro’s (and we don’t mean the golf pros 😉): 

      • Make your hotel reservations in Sea Pines ASAP – everything books up really fast! Also, as a side note but super important ***If you have a smaller group – did you know you could ask for a LOI (Letter of Intent) vs. signing a group contract?  With a LOI you can release hotel rooms 30 days prior to your visit rather than being locked into a contract that will hold you accountable for 90% (or more) of your group room block.🤯 
      • Book your caterer now! Why, you may ask? Because all of your options will be gone as the date gets closer. Reach out to a local DMC (Destination Management Company) to help you orchestrate your catering needs. Contact us if you need a referral or recommendations.
      • Private Transportation is a MUST – during the tournament you can’t rely on on-demand transportation (Uber/Lyft/Taxis/Shuttles). To give your guests the ultimate VIP experience and to minimize walking, private drivers will get you where you need to go quickly and efficiently. They know where they’re going, where to park and can drive you through gates and get you as close as possible to your destination.

This was certainly another event for the books! With the help of a beautiful coastal setting, a sporting event that was top notch and an unbeatable team of executives and our friends at PlanSource…we are looking forward to hosting more events in Hilton Head Island!
